This Scenic Rim aged care facility for Churches of This Scenic Rim aged care facility for Churches of Christ in Queensland came in ahead of schedule and under budget, and with perfect country views like these, we know we can say our clients and their residents are all very happy with the results of this project. Featuring four individual wings for the residents, large living and dining spaces, an Administration block including lounges, a gym and salon, plus the central facilities building home to a large commercial kitchen and laundry, and facilities for the many staff. A beautiful landscaped central courtyard, which includes an undercover BBQ space and meandering paths for the residents, is the final piece in what is an exceptional facility.

The 6 unique-yet-functional designs of these waterfront homes were a joy to build, in such a beautiful location on the Sunshine Coast. The timber screen look is still on-trend and provides an interesting contrast to the usual building materials used on external facades.

With a lovely range of shared, community areas looking out to beautiful views of the Scenic Rim, this was a rewarding project for the @ncmconstructions team to deliver to our valued clients.

At @ncmconstructions, we're passionate about maintaining safe workplaces every day of the year, but it's always beneficial to have a focused reminder.
NCM handed over Hillcrest Community Housing develo NCM handed over Hillcrest Community Housing development in February 2020 to our longstanding client the Churches of Christ in Queensland. The 32 unit development is for over 55’s and is backed by the government’s National Rental Affordability Scheme, and built to meet the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Specialist Disability Accommodation. On top of the designated NDIS units, each standard unit was designed and built to be easily retrofit a disabled compliant unit with very little rework and features a passenger lift to provide full accessibility throughout. The development features semi-open walkways throughout the building to maximise natural light and has an in-house management office, communal room for residents and guests, covered carparking, and landscaped grounds including designated planter beds for residents’ own planting needs. Another successful project delivered on time and under budget.
