Buderim Gardens Community Centre is a multi-functional space with moveable walls that grow and shrink the main hall as needed. The building has been built with the future in mind with solar power and thermal features that reduce energy consumption.
The project includes a huge kitchen with ample café-style seating, two outdoor decks overlooking the lake, a movie room, gym and outdoor pool. There is a library, billiards room and craft room as well as a large auditorium for bigger gatherings and dance classes.
With accessibility being a strong focus in the design of the new centre with the inclusion of six new undercover mobility scooter parking spaces.
